I totally understand if you find this bizzare and stupid, but me and Sander went to see our local hockey club Skellefteå AIK as they had a practise on ice. Inside the arena the temperature was close to zero while it was about 25 degrees celsius right outside. It was a strange feeling putting on warmer clothes before entering the building.

But it was worth it! Sander had such a blast! He really loves to watch the players skate and he just tries to get out on the ice himself. Hopefully I'll be able to skate with him this winter. I can't wait! Sander doesn't really get the game since he is only 2 years, old but he already has some favourite players. Sander always cheers a bit extra for "Rama" and "Antos" so I figure he likes the more gentle touch of the game...

Erika started her job earlier than the rest of us so me and Sander went over to our neighbours Johanna and Alba so that Sander had some friends to play with. Sander, Alba and Svea had a great time by the pool.

Johanna had bought this pool shaped as something close to a whale earlier that same day so we had to try all the details. Like the nose-fountain shown on the picture...

I love this picture of the kids posing with their ice cream...
Having all the perverts using the internet in mind I had to cover some private parts...

Me, Erika and Sander borrowed Erikas sister Annas apartment in Luleå for a week. The plan was to have a short vacation with friends from our time in Luleå. One of the days we decided to go up to Haparanda and visit IKEA. Grandma Monica had packed a lunchbox for Sander so he ate some pancakes in the backseat of the car...

We didn't bring a stroller for Sander since we figured we could need the extra space in the car for furniture... so Sander had to sit in the cart. After a while he got tired and wanted to lay down. He was actually about to fall asleep in the cart... I guess we won't win parants of the year award this time around...

"Yeah! This isn't so bad, daddy... But please be gentle when you turn those corners will you?"

It was quite fun at IKEA and we found some nice things to bring home. But honestly I believe that Sander was the one having most of the fun. He LOVED the computers that IKEA had put up around the store for children to play with. He just had to make a short stop at each and everyone and play for a couple of minutes. And yes, me and Erika wasn't as pleased as him...

After nearly a 7 hour walk through the store we all needed some new energy. 5 hot dogs, 6 pizza slizes, 2 cinnamon rolls, 2 chocolate bars, 3 soft drinks and 2 coffees was just what the doctor ordered.
